 The Trinidad and Tobago Forensic Science Centre is an independent institution. The ultimate objective of the Centre is the administration of justice and the enforcement of the Law.
The Centre is equipped with laboratories furnished with up-to-date scientific equipment and specially designed facilities for autopsies.
The Forensic Science Centre is designated by the United Nations as the Regional Training Centre for Psychotropic Substances.
The Center is manned by 53 men and women trained in specific areas of forensic science.
